Niamh holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Niamh offers counselling for both adults and adolescents.

Niamh supports clients with a wide variety of issues including:

Anxiety, Depression, Suicidal Ideation, Self-Esteem, Self-Harm, Loss and Bereavement, Bullying, Abuse (Physical, Mental, Emotional), Co-Dependency, Anger Management, Personal Development, Trauma.

Her focus is to build a trusting and non-judgemental relationship, where a client can feel safe to discuss their issues. She works in an integrative manner, involving Psychodynamic Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy and CBT. She believes that every individual is different, and that therapy should be suited to the personal needs and goals of the client. She works through maladaptive thoughts and behaviours, teaching clients coping mechanisms to deal with them.
