Liz works in an integrative way, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques depending upon a person’s specific needs and challenges.

She works with adults over the age of 18 on a full range of issues extending from anxiety, depression & addiction to relationship problems, experiences of bullying, grief, loneliness, lack of confidence, and feeling conflicted, stuck or lost.
When working with a client, Liz’s focuses on developing three key areas in order to elicit personal growth:

  • the nurturing of a warm, empathic and non-judgmental relationship,
  • the understanding and analysis of the client’s experience to obtain meaning and insight,
  • the use of cognitive and behavioural techniques (CBT) to identify, challenge and reframe a client’s intrusive thoughts and unhelpful behaviours.
